Spend an evening or two soaking in one of our Moroccan tubs, cleanse in our steam shower, or digest some words and a refreshing sip in our garden…
We’d truly love to have you!

Oh! Oh!
Remember the days of Dick and Jane? Spot? Puss?
Oh, the sweetness of revisiting the first day of first grade, just after a summer of bliss, happy to discover new activities and all the possibilities of three recess periods a day! Mmmm, it’s good.
So, July surrounds us for the next little bit, and it’s time for crisp cherries, concerts in the park, sunny hikes, and vacationing. Did I mention any favorites?!
Some exciting [ very local ] news : The Yoga Centre of San Luis is scheduled to move back into their former location up near the train station in an updated space–hooray! Catch : it’s just a mere, short walk from our little abode and this is truly a real treat! Can’t wait to have you back, and welcome home!
Time to head out for a walk and then to gather some fresh-picked goodness from the market downtown. What’s for breakfast tomorrow???
Cheer-y-Oh!
Dear, June:
Oh, I do hope you had a memorable and restful holiday weekend!
What a treat… So, here is one of the many perks of my job: a decidedly excellent couple celebrated their first anniversary with us for the last four days and these two will walk an enviable road together, indeed. The ease and peace that surrounded them, the smiles they freely offered, and the gratitude that seemed to fit each of them like a tailored garment will last in my heart’s memory to be sure. Thank you, Serene and Dan for sharing yourselves with us, it was a pleasure having you here.
While out walking yesterday, my ears tuned to the summerish sounds of children laughing at games they’d invented, and my nose greedily accepted the familiar sting of caramelized goodness actively occurring on no less than many primed barbecues. The sun removed my extra sweater and my legs loved finding, feeling, and perfecting their rhythm… It was completely perfect. And, yes, this is real life!
Well, as June has arrived, so has the season for travels… I’m off to Raleigh and then for a little sail among some virgin islands. Where are you headed? Is there time for a trip to SLOtown???
I can’t wait to welcome you… I can’t wait to hear your stories.
And I especially can’t wait to cook for you!
Come! Come soon!
